May 3 Make an Expressionist painting in the style of Franz Marc (1880-1916) by using bright colors that express emotion. Bring a picture of an animal or a landscape, or just come! With Christa Wise (at Saugatuck High School art room)

June 7 Come and see how Art Club members have drawn our familiar landscape over the years. We'll show many drawings from the calendars the Art Club has produced over the decades, and talk about the history of the calendars with Peggy Boyce, long-time calendar chair (at Saugatuck High School art room)

Tuesday, Sept. 14 Another in our series of movie nights featuring contemporary women artists. The film is about Mary Heilman (born 1940) who has been described as "a pioneering painter whose work injects abstraction with elements from popular culture and craft traditions. A 'painter’s painter,' her straightforward, seemingly loose and casual approach belies a witty dialogue with art historical preconceptions" (at Saugatuck High School art room)
