Turn left of Blue Star, turn right on first street ,go to next road which is 56th, turn left, her house and barn are on the right just a ways from the corner, gray gambrel roof house and barns to the left.
May 26 Rosebay Nursery- Linda Charvat’s rhododendron farm. Old Allegan Road. Chickens, bring bread and food, barns, horses, tractors, cute yellow house, gardens
June 2 Herman Miller Design Yard, between Washington St. and Graafschap, turn left from south off Washington at Family Fare. Ponds, wild flowers, interesting buildings
June 9 Llama Farm, Blue Star to Red Barn Theater, turn down that road, proceed to the next corner. Donkeys, Llamas, horses, barn
June 16 Peterson’s Mill, can park down the little side street and paint from there or you can paint up on the property itself, up closer to the mill
June 23 Sunset Junque and Sleepy Hollow Resort of South Haven. Proceed south on Blue Star, pass through Glenn, just after 109th on the right is a junk shop. After painting at the junk site, proceed south on Blue Star to the corner where Cousins Restaurant and campground are, turn right, proceed about a mile, on the curve is the entrance to Sleepy Hollow. Retro, deco buildings, neat beach steps. Heard that the buildings were part of the World’s Fair in Chicago.
June 30 Windmill Island, Holland. End of Lincoln near 8th. Gorgeous gardens, the windmill, the quaint Dutch cottages, and a green house with orchids. There is admission…maybe $8.00 a car to my recall. There is a hot dog, fast food little café.
July 7 Judy Mauger’s hill. View of the entire river basin. It is really in the yard of the condos. From the light in Douglas proceed towards lake. First street right is Hamilton. Turn right on Hamilton, left on the next little street, park along the street and walk out on the lawn.
July 14 Judy Jarzembowski’s house and barn, Old Allegan and 63rd on Lorrimar Lane. Go out Old Allegan Road, past Rosebay Nursery, to Lorrimar, turn right, her House is the first one on the left, on the corner. Sally Winthers vegetable garden in the afternoon. Back on Old Allegan, proceed about ¼ mile, if that, turn left on Coppice. An unbelievably neat food garden.
July 21 South Haven Harbor, pack a lunch. Park at the public Marina and we can decide if we are staying there or some might want to go down to the beach or over to where the tall ships are. We could determine where everyone wants to go from there. Let’s be there at 10:00. Not later, could be earlier, but we can make our decisions from there so please be on time.
July 28 Wicks Park, downtown Saugatuck

August 11 Karen Babb's house on the river, across the river from the Annex. Proceed down Ferry Street, it changes names to Park Street to white house called the Clam Shell which will be on your right on the river.
August 18 Barns at Pier Cove, go to M-89 intersection, turn left on LakeShore Drive.At the stop sign, turn right and proceed south on Lake Shore. At 121st there is a little road where we could park. We will have to walk down to the barns and I will hopefully ask the guys that own them to have the gate open.
August 25 Episcopal Church, retreat, gardens, and a barn across the street.Hoffman Street on the Hill in Saugatuck.
Optional field trip: Leave Tuesday 8:00am, drive to Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, paint a painting at a location where Frank Dudley [painted. Lunch at Strongbow’s Turkey Inn on HWY. 30 in Valparaiso. After lunch go to the Art Barn and spend the afternoon there in open studio time, inside the barn or on the grounds.It is an hour and a half drive to the dunes, 20 minutes to Strongbows, 20 minutes back for the Barn which is near the spot to head home, then an hour and a half back.We could possibly include the Bauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University, as it is near Strongbows.
September 1 Meijers Garden Field Trip. Entry fee. Likely head for the Michigan Farm exhibit for painting, or anywhere. There is a train, costs extra, to drop you off at different sights. In case of rain we could do something inside. Good lunch place in the building.
September 8 Fenn Valley Winery

October 6 Kathleen Markland's river front home. Go out 62nd , you will come to a big curve to the right, soon after the curve you will see Indian Point Road, turn left. Kathleen's driveway is the first one, long and windy back. Good marshlands, color, the river
October 13 Randolph and Spring, Douglas …an interesting house to paint,
October 20 Peterson’s Preserve, Saugatuck….near the Peterson’s Mill but across the street and behind the houses and pond
October 27 Arnold Shaeffer barn and log structure, Union Street in Douglas. From the post office in Douglas, follow Union Street south through its curves and crannies until you see a neat barn on your right. It is actually fairly close to Wiley, you could come in from that end also.
