Art Club Members Picnic 2023
Art Club invites all members to come to our annual picnic on Tuesday, August 15 from 5:30 -7:30 pm at 167 Lake Shore Dr. in Douglas. Please note that this is the third Tuesday of the month. Ballakeyll is Anne Corlett’s beautiful family cottage with an expansive lawn and a view of Lake Michigan.
Many of you have joined the club because you want to get to know more people and make friends. This is a great opportunity to make that happen as only food and conversation are on the agenda. Please mark your calendars and plan to come.
As in past years, you may choose to pre-order food from Farmhouse Deli. Please see the link, below. The picnic meal is $20 which includes a sandwich, salad, chips, and a cookie. You must pay in advance for your order with a credit card, so make a choice of sandwich and salad, then add it to your cart. Be sure to give your card information before submitting. Your picnic package will be delivered to the picnic at 5:30 pm that evening. Of course, you may simply pack your own picnic basket and bring it.
Please remember to bring your own beverages and folding chairs or a blanket to sit on.
The last few years we have had wonderful weather, but due to limited shelter, if it rains we will have to cancel the event. If you have ordered a meal, it will be available for pick up at Ballakeyll between 5:30 and 6:00 pm, and you can just take it home with you.
