Art Club Members Picnic 2022
NEW LOCATION! Art Club invites you all to come to our annual picnic on Wednesday, August 10 at the Summerhouse Lavender Farm at 2975 65th Street in Fennville. Just take Wiley road east from Blue Star and turn right, south, on 65th. The Farm comes up quickly on your left, the east, side. While the lavender will not be in bloom, the grounds are lovely and spacious. New owner, Eric Adams, has promised to have the shop open for you to explore.
To make it easy, you may choose to pre-order food from the Farmhouse Deli. Please purchase you favorite sandwich at the bottom of this page. The picnic meal is $20 which includes a sandwich, salad, chips, and a chocolate chip cookie. You must pay in advance for your order with a credit card, so make a choice of sandwich and salad, then add it to your cart. Be sure to give your card information before submitting. Your picnic package will be delivered to the picnic at 5:30 PM. Of course, you may simply pack your own picnic basket and bring it.
Please do remember to bring your own beverages and folding chairs or blanket to sit upon.
Last year we had wonderful weather, but this is Michigan, rain might fall. If it does, we will move to the outdoor patio at the new Saugatuck-Douglas District library to stay covered. I’m a Pollyanna, so I am hoping for the best.
I know many of you have joined the club because you want to get to know more people and make friends. This is one of those opportunities where that can happen as the only agenda is food and conversation. Please mark your calendars and plan to come.
We look forward to seeing you there.
