Making Faces
Wednesday, May 19 on ZOOM
Social time begins at 6:00
Presentation begins at 6:30pm

Take a good look at the faces of great women in arts through the self portraits they created. Their expressions and gestures speak about their lives and the challenges and struggles they faced. Incredible women with amazing stories.

Teresa O’Brien will lead the interactive presentation and discussion about several female artists. Art club members will be given an opportunity to chose an artist, read a description of their life and show a self portrait of this famous woman. No worries…all the work has been done for you and will be available before the presentation.

The paintings and quotes are telling and send messages not only to the viewers who saw their work during the time they were made but also to all of us after they are gone. History has become Herstory.

Don’t miss this powerful presentation about the gutsy women who forged a path for women artists.

Art Club members will receive a Zoom invitation via email.
