  • Prepare for insects and ticks. If in grasses, fields, dunes, etc. spray down with Deet and cover your feet with socks and tuck in pant legs.
  • Wear a hat!

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am

No lessons or critique but plenty of conversation and advice in a supportive environment. Work in watercolor or any medium that is portable.

    Directions:  Turn east on Wiley (130th) from Blue Star Hwy. blinker.  Go about 2 miles, over freeway, past Douglas Cemetery, very soon turn south on 65th, 2nd house on left.

  • Thurs., July 29 - Root Beer Barrel in Douglas, Corner Center and Ferry
  • Thurs., August 5 - Downtown Douglas in front of the Old School House or behind it
  • Thurs., August 12 -  Douglas Harbor, Red Dock, boats, river, flowers, red building
  • Thurs., August 19-  Downtown Douglas, the gorgeous garden next to the old library, across the street from Old School House
  • Thurs., August 26 - Old Pump House Museum, at the foot of Mt. Baldhead, great river views
  • Thurs., September 2 - Veterans’ Park downtown Saugatuck on Butler, in front of Christian Science Church, beautiful statue to honor Burr Tillstrom
  • Thurs., September 9 - North end Oval Beach
  • Thurs., September 16 - Douglas Beach, Center St. and Lakeshore Drive.  Limited parking and nice way to get to beach
  • Thurs., September 23 - The Peterson Mill in Saugatuck on Holland Street near The Southerner.  To avoid parking on private property, park along the street across the street from Mill
  • Thurs., September 30 - South end Oval Beach
