Sherri Rowland
I’m a Michigan native, graduate of Kendall College of Art & Design and most of my career was spent in the graphic design field. I spent a few years concentrating on photography, and then a few years experimenting with acrylic paint. I’ve come back to my roots and do predominately digital art now.
Digital art is a multifaceted category that can take on many forms. Much of my work is a combination of different media, such as acrylic, digital, photography, and sometimes markers. I add layers to most of my work to create depth and variety.
My newest project is a journal that I initially designed for myself, and then realized that it was a meaningful tool for many others as well. The journal features a prompted journal page for each week, and calendar pages for each day of the week. I’ve added fun touches like pockets for memorabilia, creative dividers, and pages for project planning and travel planning.
