ANNUAL ART FAIRS

Please be sure to attend both fairs and to sign up to volunteer online at: https://www.signupgenius.com/ go/5080848ACAE29A5F58-sdac1 MEMBERS ONLY ANNUAL PICNIC Date: Tuesday, August 15th (NOTE: third Tuesday) Time: 5:30p.m.–7:30p.m. Ballakeyll—167 Lake Shore Dr., Douglas Ballakeyll is Anne Corlett’s beautiful family cottage across from Lake Michigan. Pack your own picnic or order ahead on our website for a $20 picnic meal from Farmhouse Deli that will be delivered to you that night. Watch for details for picnic pre-orders on our website. Let’s celebrate the summer! POPPIES & MORE Date: Tuesday, September 12th Time: 6:30p.m.–8:30p.m. Pleasant Hill Farm 5859 124th Avenue, Fennville Joan Donaldson, writer, gardener, quilter, and creative, will explain the history the family blueberry farm, one of the first organic farms in Michigan, and the reason for her farm’s poppy field. In addition, we will tour her garden and the large post and beam barn and see some of the extraordinary quilts in traditional styles she has created over the past fifty years. ANNUAL MEETING Date: Tuesday, October 10th Time: 6:30p.m. Saugatuck-Douglas History Center 130 W Center Street, Douglas The Annual Meeting starts with a special reception at 5:30 to welcome new members and honor life members. The program follows at 6:30. It is a time to see where we are going, to celebrate what we have done, to vote for new officers, and to socialize with friends. WINTER WANDERINGS Date: Tuesday, November 14th Time: 6:30p.m.–8:30p.m. Saugatuck-Douglas District Library A hugely popular program, Winter Wanderings returns with Anne Corlett hosting multiple contributors who will each have six and a half minutes to present 20 visuals telling about their personal creative journeys. This art club program, this year featuring new members, will have a storytelling platform that celebrates people, passion and creative thought. HOLIDAY PARTY Date: Tuesday, December 12th Time: 5:30p.m.–8:30p.m. Everyday People Cafe 11 W Center Street, Douglas The back dining room is ours for mixing and mingling with a heavy appetizer buffet and a cash bar.
