Resthaven Care Center in Holland, MI will be hosting a photography competition and exhibit in February 2024. The goal is to capture the beauty of West MI and the lakeshore and bring it inside for our Residents. The competition has no barriers of entry while also providing some reward and recognition to the photographers.

Holland Friends of Art would like to announce and invite you, and the public, to our very first Visiting Artist Series program, for the year. We will invite a local, established artist, to speak of and/or demonstrate their process of creating/marketing their art, among many other topics, in a public setting. This is open to everyone, members and nonmembers and is free, so spread the word!
Our first guest speaker will be Paulette Carr. Many of us know Paulette, as she has become a vibrant force in our art community. Paulette wears many hats, as the creative whirlwind, that she is. One of those hats is our very own committee head of Gallery 602, along with Carol Kreher and Christi Dreese, with whom she shares the duties of the Holland Hospital gallery . The tentative subject of her talk will be the importance of getting and staying involved, in our/your communities, by way of the arts.
