Do you struggle trying to make your creative ideas come to life because you lack drawing skills? Maybe you just want to improve your drawing skills? This class will teach you how to “see” better and give you confidence in making better drawings, which will translate to better, “more finished” pieces (paintings, etc) as you progress in your studies.
Here’s what you will come away with: • Practice exercises good to use as long as you want to improve/maintain your skills • The BEST tricks and techniques, along with traditional study, to help you observe better for more accurate drawings • The start of your personal art portfolio, for your forever reference • Framable drawing studies What: The Beginning Class series is 2 hrs each week for 6 weeks/$120 pd. before classes start. (Intermediate studies class will follow for another 6 weeks.) Where: The History Center (old schoolhouse), 130 Center St., downtown Douglas MI When: Suggested Class time/dates: Tuesdays, from 10:00 am - Noon, 1:00 - 3:00 pm., starting January 17 (then, Jan 24, Jan 31, Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21) Right now these dates and times are not set in stone, so let’s discuss!
